News24 | Festive season road stats: 51 deaths, 72 crashes in the North West by Christmas

By Christmas Day, the road death toll in the North West had reached 51 and the number of accidents in the province stood at 72 – most of which occurred between 18:00 and midnight, the North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management has revealed in a statement.
